My Father's House

The background of this picture was actually drawn by my little brother Tanis in church. It's about one of his favorite songs. See, he and I sing it a lot. It's called "Big house" I think... and it's by Audio Adrenaline.

Anyway, Tanis and I sing the chorus a lot, which goes:
"Come, and go with me, to my Father's house, come, and go with me, to my Father's house. It's a big, big house, with lots and lots of room, a big, big table, with lots and lots of food, a big, big yard, where we can play football, a big, big house, it's my Father's house."

It's a really catchy song. So, back to the point, my little brother drew this picture about it. See, there's the "big, big house" there with all the windows, and people are playing ball and stuff in the yard... and for some reason there's a football stadium in God's backyard. Well, He is God, isn't He? He can have anything he wants!

Oh, and down in the right hand corner... that's a little map (Tanis told me). See, at the bottom there's the gates to heaven... and then a path running straight to the house. In case you were wondering.

I thought it was really cute! So I had to post it! So I put some of the lyrics over it to have an excuse to post it! *giggle* It's cute. And a good sign from my brother. He really worries me sometimes.
