My little brother and I went for a dig about a month ago at Rucks Pit here in Okeechobee, FL. Rucks Pit is known for beautiful golden calcite crystals that grow on fossilized clam shells. We found quite a few really nice pieces.
This has to be my ultimate favorite piece I found. It's a full spiral shell just FULL of crystals. It broke in half as I was cleaning it, but that just made it more beautiful; now you can see the full wealth of crystals on the inside. Since I don't have a lot of room and not much to do with them, I decided to sell most of them because we really need the money. Thus, this piece is up for sale on eBay. Anyone interested in buying or simply wanting to see the full pictures is welcome to check it out here. |
